Hire Contracts Wizard

How do I use the Contract Creation Wizard?

 

  • Click on Hire ➔ Contract Wizard

 

  • If you know the equipment number, enter this within the equipment number field. If you do not know the equipment number, click on the three dots and this will bring the Global Enquiry screen to search for the Equipment Record. Once you have selected the Equipment Record, click Next

 

 

  • If you know the Site Alpha code, enter this within the Site field. If you do not know the Site Alpha code, click on the three dots and this will bring the Global Enquiry screen to search for the Site Record. Once you have selected the Site Record, click Next

 

  • Enter the order number for the new Hire Contract. Click Next

  • Select the Hire Contract Type that you want this new Contract to use. At this stage, you can click on Finish to create the Contract or you can click next to continue with other options for the Hire Contract

  • If you have selected Next, you can now enter the Start date of the Hire Contract. Again, you can click on Finish to create the Contract or you can click Next to continue with other options for the Hire Contract

  • If you have selected Next, you can now enter how long the equipment will be on hire for. Alternatively, if you are not sure how long this will be on Hire for, you can leave this information blank. You can click Finish to create the Contract or you can click Next to continue with other options for the Hire Contract

  • If you have selected Next, you can now enter the rate for the Equipment record that is on the Hire Contract. You can enter a value and also change the frequency for the rate. You can click Finish to create the Contract or you can click Next to continue with other options for the Hire Contract

  • If you have selected Next, you can now enter any Hire Extras that will be on this Equipment record. You can enter as many Hire Extras as you want and detail the quantity, unit cost and unit price. You can click Finish to create the Contract or you can click Next to continue with other options for the Hire Contract:

  • If you have selected Next, you will get a summary of what is going to be created on the new Hire Contract. It will detail all of the options that you have selected throughout the wizard and then allow you to select what you next want to do.
  • The options are:
    o I want to view the contract – This will take you into the new Hire Contract you have created
    o I want to view the equipment hire details – This will take you into the equipment record hire details of the Hire Contract
    o I want to despatch the equipment – This will take you into the Hire preparation and despatch screen so you can despatch the equipment record to the Site
  • Once you have selected the option you want, click on Finish. If you want to make any amendments to the Hire Contract, you can click on the Back button and this will allow you to make amendments before the Hire Contract is created:
