How do I set up Equipment for Hire?

  • Firstly, you will need to open the equipment record you wish to make available for Hire.  The equipment needs to be a ‘Stock’ status piece of equipment.You then need to click on the Financial tab and click the Capitalise button.

  • Once you click Yes this will prompt and ask what date you want to capitalise the equipment

  • This will then change the equipment to the status of ‘For Hire’ and tick the Asset tick box making this available to select on Hire Contracts.
